Softball Australia and revolutioniseSPORT announce multi-year partnership extension

Softball Australia and revolutioniseSPORT are pleased to announce the extension of their partnership, reaffirming a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and the long-term success of softball in Australia.

Following an initial partnership with Softball Queensland in 2017, revolutioniseSPORT has played a central role in the sport’s digital transformation. This work culminated in a nationally unified platform in 2021, delivering more consistent, efficient, and scalable systems across the softball ecosystem.

The partnership has supported the sport’s complex operational needs, including bespoke business rules and sophisticated processes for clearances, permits, and competition management. These capabilities have helped Softball Australia, and its State and Territory member associations modernise administration while better supporting clubs, volunteers, and participants at every level of the game.

Sarah Loh, Chief Executive Officer of Softball Australia, said the relationship with revolutioniseSPORT was built on trust and genuine collaboration.

“Having worked with revolutioniseSPORT for many years, I couldn’t be more pleased with this partnership, and that’s exactly what it is, a partnership,” Loh said.

“The team at revolutioniseSPORT have an unrivalled knowledge of, experience in, and connection to Australian sport. We share a strong commitment to the future of our sport, and together we are leading the industry through critical areas, including fundraising through the Australian Sports Foundation and game-changing member protection capabilities.”

“But importantly, this isn’t just about supporting the national and state bodies. revolutioniseSPORT is the lifeblood of many of our clubs, supporting everything from meeting minutes and injury reporting to providing club websites and everyday communications. With a proven, growing platform taking us toward 2032, I am confident our clubs have the tools to grow with them into the next decade.”

Alex Mednis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of revolutioniseSPORT, said Softball Australia’s approach to innovation had been a key driver of progress across the industry.

“Softball Australia has come a long way in its digital transformation over the past five years, and this is only the beginning,” Mednis said.

“One of the things we value most is the sport’s genuine commitment to exploring what’s possible. There is incredible buy-in from the wider softball community, with club and state administrators regularly engaging with our team to help shape future capabilities that ultimately benefit the entire industry.”

Softball Australia is the recognised National Sporting Organisation for softball in Australia, an Olympic sport that will feature at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and is bidding for inclusion at the Brisbane 2032 Games. The sport has a strong national footprint and a proud history of success on the international stage.

revolutioniseSPORT is Australia’s most trusted sports management platform, supporting more than 300 governing bodies and over 22,000 grassroots clubs, and servicing approximately one-third of organised sport nationwide, as well as markets across New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United States. The platform is purpose-built to simplify sport administration, empower volunteers, and help sporting organisations operate more efficiently and sustainably.
