Pistol Australia Partners with revolutioniseSPORT to Deliver National Digital Transformation

Published Mon 29 Jun 2026

Pistol Australia has announced a landmark partnership with revolutioniseSPORT to deliver a unified national membership and governance platform across all states, territories and affiliated clubs.

The onboarding will include all state and territory associations and 314 affiliated clubs, representing more than 20,000 members nationwide.

For the first time in its history, Pistol Australia will operate with a centralised national membership database. This marks a significant milestone for the sport, creating consistent data standards, improved reporting capabilities, and streamlined administration across the country.

Beyond national reporting and analytics, the new platform will allow Pistol Australia to seamlessly validate members for event registrations and championship eligibility. This ensures stronger compliance, improved integrity processes, and greater operational efficiency for national and state competitions.

At the club level, the transformation is equally significant. Many affiliated clubs have historically managed member records through standalone spreadsheets, with limited access to integrated digital systems. The introduction of revolutioniseSPORT will not only reduce administrative burden on volunteers, but also establish a fundamental layer of governance, compliance and operational consistency across the sport.

As part of the partnership, Pistol Australia will also launch a brand new national website, delivering a modern digital presence that better reflects the sport’s professionalism and growth ambitions.

Quote from Michele Sandstrom, President, Pistol Australia
“This partnership represents a major step forward for Pistol Australia. For the first time, we will have clear visibility of our membership, which ultimately strengthens our ability to govern and grow the sport.

Our clubs are largely volunteer-run and have done an extraordinary job managing their operations with limited digital tools. By introducing revolutioniseSPORT, we are making administration simpler, improving compliance and laying the foundations for sustainable growth across all levels of the sport.

The team at revSPORT have unrivalled experience in supporting Australian sporting organisations. They understand what it’s like in club-land, and that empathy and knowledge is critical. It means they are rolling out more than just technology. They are delivering a system built around the realities of how sport actually operates.”

Quote from Nicholas Watkins, Chief Operating Officer, revolutioniseSPORT
“We are proud to partner with Pistol Australia on this important national rollout. Moving from fragmented spreadsheets to a connected national platform is transformational. It enables stronger governance, clearer reporting, and a better experience for members, administrators and officials alike.

When national bodies and clubs operate on a single source of truth, it creates confidence, consistency and capability across the entire sport.”

The partnership positions Pistol Australia with a scalable digital infrastructure to support grassroots participation, state operations, national championships, and long-term strategic growth.
